The Wandering Trader
A trader who comes whenever he likes – with offers you only get from him.
The Wandering Trader shows up at a time and place that nobody can predict – no tool and no timer either. He stays for a while, sells special goods and then moves on.
How to find him
When he appears, the global chat says so:
[Wandering Trader] appeared in map at x, z (channel n) – [teleport]
Clicking [teleport] shows you the cost; confirm and you are taken straight to him. All players land on the same spot, a few metres from the trader.
Pick the right channel
The trader only ever visits one channel – check the channel in the message.
Shopping
Click the trader or use /wt to open his window. You see:
- every offer with its icon (tooltip on hover), name and amount
- the price in Penya, Perin and/or Red Chips – every listed currency is charged
- how much of an offer is still in stock on this visit
- your personal limits per visit, day and week
- a countdown for timed offers and until the trader moves on
Pick the amount, Buy, confirm – done.
Limits really count
Your purchase limits stay in place after a relog, a channel change or a server restart.
Good to know
- Teleporting and buying need a minimum level.
- You cannot teleport while fighting, trading or inside an instance.
- If your inventory is unexpectedly full when you buy, the goods arrive by mail.
