V19 interface

The dark-and-gold interface is Orelia's default – what is different from Classic and how to switch between the two.

On Orelia you play with the V19 interface by default: dark windows, gold frames and buttons, new fonts and a taskbar in the style of later game versions. If you prefer the old look, you can switch back to Classic at any time.

Switching the theme

Pick the theme in game, or before you start in the Launcher.

  1. In game – open the options, tab Display, section Interface theme. A preview is shown on the right.
  2. Choose – V19 or Classic. The change is instant: windows close for a moment and reopen in the new look.
  3. In the Launcher – or use Einstellungen › Grafik › Anzeige (Settings › Graphics › Display), row Oberflächen-Design.

DirectX 11 only

Themes need the DirectX 11 renderer. In DirectX 9 mode you always get Classic, and the Launcher row is disabled.

A few images are only loaded when the game starts (some gauges and the mouse cursor, for example). Those change after a restart.

What V19 changes

  • Dark and goldwindows, tooltips, drop-downs, tabs and context menus are dark with gold borders. Buttons like OK, Cancel or Close become gold pills with text.
  • New fontsCinzel for headings, Nunito for menus and buttons, Lora for longer texts such as quests, dialogs, letters and help.
  • Readable coloursvery dark text colours (like blue item names) are brightened so they stay readable on dark backgrounds.
  • Orelia systems matchthe Auction House, Legacy, World Boss, character select and other Orelia windows use the same V19 artwork.

The taskbar (HUD)

The V19 taskbar sits at the bottom right and is made of several parts:

  • Main bar with 9 item slots. The keys 1 to 9 are shown in gold above the slots. The up arrow, the S in the middle and the down arrow switch the item row.
  • HP, MP and FP bars with numbers on the right of the bar, the EXP bar below and the clock above.
  • Action Slot – the round circle on the far right. Your skill queue (5 slots) sits in its rings, and the S in the centre starts it. While the queue runs, the rings glow and spin. The sixth ring shows the queue page: click for the next, right-click for the previous.
  • Pull-out bar on the left of the main bar holds your applets (inventory, character …). Click the arrow tab to open or close it, or drag it to open it only part of the way.
  • Lock on the left of the main bar: locks all extra bars and the pull-out bar.
  • Menu button at the bottom left of the screen opens the start window.

The 0 key stays the screenshot key. Moving the bars and using extra bars is covered in Taskbars.

More changes

  • Target window at the top centre: portrait or job image, name, HP and a coloured circle with the monster’s level and element (fire red, water blue, electricity yellow, wind green, earth purple). You can move it.
  • Round minimap with a compass ring.
  • Chat with icons for the channels (general, whisper, shout, party, guild), a dark frame and its own scroll bar.
  • Speech bubbles in a light glass look, region names centred in gold lettering.

Classic stays Classic

The Classic theme looks exactly as you know it. Orelia features such as tooltips with comparison or the item search work in both themes.
