Tooltips and equipment comparison
Clear item tooltips split into sections, plus a comparison panel that shows at a glance whether an item beats the one you are wearing.
Hover over an item and its tooltip shows every value neatly split into sections. If it is equipment you are not wearing, a second panel appears next to it and compares it with what you have equipped.
The new tooltip
The tooltip has a frame with a soft shadow and dividing lines between its sections. In the Classic theme it is light with an orange border; in the V19 interface it is dark with a gold border.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Header | name, upgrade, sockets, [Equipped] on worn items, binding, weapon type, gender, Gear Score |
| Combat values | attack or defence in bold, followed in grey by the base value and the upgrade share, plus attack speed and element |
| Bonuses | base stats, random options, set upgrade, cards, awakening and blessing, Ultimate jewels, jewellery upgrade |
| Requirements | class, level (red if you do not meet it), cooldown, remaining time |
| Description | text, model preview, set with its parts and bonuses, pet, rune |
| Price | sell price |
An example of the combat values: 386 ~ 395 (300 ~ 309 +86) – the total first, then in brackets the base value and what the upgrade adds. Negative values are shown in red.
The equipment comparison
When you point at a weapon, armour piece, jewellery or costume you are not wearing, the comparison panel opens next to the tooltip:
- at the top [ Equipped item ] with the icon and name of what you wear in that slot
- a table Stat | Equipped | This item | Change
- a summary at the bottom, for example “▲ 3 better ▼ 1 worse = 2 same”
- ▲ Greenthis value gets better.
- ▼ Redthis value gets worse.
- = Sameno change.
- otherdifferent elements, which cannot be compared directly.
The panel compares upgrade, attack or defence (as a min ~ max range), attack speed (“faster”/“slower”), element and its level, all bonuses added up, and the required level – where lower is better.
Rings and earrings
Rings and earrings have two slots, so you see two panels stacked: “Ring 1” and “Ring 2”. If a slot is empty, it says “Nothing equipped in this slot” and every value counts as a gain.
Set bonuses are not included
Set bonuses are left out because they depend on which other pieces you are wearing. Check the Description section of the tooltip for them.
Works in the item search too
The comparison shows wherever you see an item tooltip – including the item search.
